Story

Pokémon WaterBlue revisits the classic Kanto adventure while presenting the region from a fresh perspective. Rather than completely changing the original structure, the hack focuses on enhancing the atmosphere, environmental storytelling, and staging of Kanto while preserving the essence and pacing that made the original FireRed and LeafGreen adventures memorable.

The current Beta 1.1 release is an early portion of the adventure, with content available up to Cerulean City. The available section offers approximately 3 hours of gameplay, with more content expected in future releases.

Admin Experience

Pokémon WaterBlue really impressed me with its graphics and overall visual presentation. I've seen plenty of beautiful Pokémon ROM hacks, but this one still manages to stand out. The attention to detail in the environments, maps, and overall atmosphere gives Kanto a fresh and polished look while still retaining the familiar feeling of the original FireRed/LeafGreen games.
