Pokemon Shadows of Time

Pokémon Shadows of Time is an NDS ROM Hack based on HeartGold by Kronos5111. The game takes you on a time-bending adventure across two unique versions of the Himitsu region—set in the past and present—with the help of Celebi. Encounter a cult manipulating shadow Pokémon, uncover ancient ruins, and stop the rise of Sinfae, the embodiment of fear.

Though currently in demo build, the game showcases powerful storytelling, new Mega Evolutions, shadow Pokémon purification, and unique exploration mechanics spread across custom maps with deep lore.

This NDS ROM is available in both English and Spanish, offering a unique and evolving experience unlike any traditional Pokémon game.

Story

Twenty years before the player’s journey, a mysterious plague—possibly caused by Darkrai—threw the Himitsu region into chaos, trapping people in endless nightmares. One girl, orphaned and haunted by death, lived in the forest with Pokémon. She eventually met Celebi, who took her back in time to a more peaceful era.

In the past, she encountered the lake guardian Sinfae, a being linked to fear. But upon returning to the present, the girl changed. Blaming Celebi for failing to stop the plague, she tricked Celebi into revisiting the past and unleashed Sinfae into the present world.

Now aged 18, she manipulates others under Sinfae’s influence, forming a cult. With Celebi's power, you, the player, must travel through time, discover lost settlements, unlock Mega Evolutions, and uncover the truth behind the downfall of a once-great civilization that defied Arceus.
